Her connection to the boating world began early—working alongside her father renting boats on the German waterways. This hands-on experience instilled in her a deep understanding of vessel operations and customer service from the ground up. She later enhanced this foundation with formal University education and continued professional development in maritime business and brokerage.

Outside of work, Joanne remains closely connected to the water as an active member of her local aqua dive club—demonstrating her passion not just for what happens above the surface, but what lies beneath it as well.
