This large port supports commercial and fish- ing traffic as well as yachts. The yacht club is in the NW corner and offers a clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, lounges and a swimming pool. Report to the top of the main pontoon for a berth assignment. A small yard on the club’s premises provides mechanical and other serv- ices for yachts. In the new inner yacht basin Marina Far is building 74 moorings with all attendant services for yachts from 20 to 60 metres. The town of Vilanova i La Geltru is a large one, covering all the normal shopping necessities and there is also a casino on the outskirts of town.
